THE CATS ON THE JOB PROGRAM The San Francisco SPCA (sfspca.org) sponsors the Cats On The Job Program, a Green Program dedicated
to the lifetime adoption of undersocialized and feral cats into businesses and residences to providing ongoing companionship and rodent control. Managed by the
Cat Assistance Team, an SF/SPCA Volunteer group, cats are available for placement, typically as pairs.
See our available Cat pairs.
SPECIAL NEEDS CATS Special Needs Cats are typically shy or undersocialized cats that do not show well in a shelter environment. They
need to establish a trusting relationship with a human guardian to fully express themselves. These cats would not normally be
considered adoptable by most shelters, but thanks to the SF/SPCA and their C.A.T. volunteers, they are taken into foster
homes and given the chance of adoption without going into the shelter. These cats are available on a foster-to-adopt
basis.

Kitty and Boogar are a bonded pair. They are between 2 and 3 years old. Kitty
is a small, short-haired tortishell female. Boogar is a medium, short-haired black and white male. He is FIV positive. Boogar
is territorial and should not be around other male cats. Both cats like to be petted and were likely former pets. Their
friendship blossumed into kittens last summer which caught the attention of a C.A.T. volunteer. They in turn were caught,
spayed/neutered and their kittens adopted. Their temporary new environment is a backyard with heated cat houses.
They need to be adopted together as a pair. If you are interested in them, please contact Volunteer Cindy at cindy@SFWCat.com or 415 706-4727.
